Ch #36 "Yard and Garden Art" Favorites Announced

Hi Everyone,

The "Yard and Garden Art" challenge was excellent.  We had 29 entries!

The top three favorites have won a $25, $15 and $10 gift certificate from Glass Tile of Oklahoma - our sponsor.  Check out their website here.

The number one favorite was created by Margo (Remygem).

She created "Cats in Party Hats".  It is fantastic!  :-)

The second place favorite is "Water Feature" by Caz Kovacs.  What a ton of work this must have been.  It's a gorgeous, and no doubt - peaceful - piece.

And the third place favorite is "Bell of the Ball" by Doreen Bell.  This is so fun!

Ch #39 - "Once Upon a Fairytale"

Hi All,

We have a brand new challenge:  "Once Upon a Fairytale".  this was picked by Margo (Remygem) - winner of the Yard and Garden Art Challnege.

Margo gives us this food for thought:  "maybe Cinderella's glass slipper, a frog prince, a scene from Alice in Wonderland like the caterpillar smoking his pipe on his mushroom... "

Ch #35 - "Floral" Challenge - Time to Vote!

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry to have missed some reminders about voting and new challenges the last few months.  My life has calmed down a bit now, and I hope to be back on schedule.

The "Floral" Challenge ended May 31, and we had 35 lovely entries.  Check them out here.

Voting has started, and you may do so through the end of the day June 7.  You are welcome to vote for up to three of your favorites.  When voting, please send me a FlickrMail with the number of the piece (1 through 35 this time), and it's also helpful to receive either the artist's name or the name of the piece - that way I'm sure to give the right piece the vote.  Favorites will be announced June 8.
