Hi Everyone,


Vanishing Point Challenge Favorite

A big "Congratulations" goes out to Candy (NT Candy on Flickr) for creating the favorite, "Old Beater", for the Vanishing Point challenge. Candy received a $25 gift certificate from Tammy at the Tile Shack, and she'll get to pick the challenge that ends March 31. We'll keep you posted on what that is!


Genie Bottle Challenge Ending Soon

The Genie bottle challenge ends this Saturday, January 31. Remember, you'll need to include a before and after photo of the bottle. There are some gorgeous entries already. Check them out here.

2008 Favorites of All the Favorites

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much to everyone who voted. It was REALLY neck and neck, and for awhile there I thought there would be a three-way tie. Many pieces just missed being runners up by a vote or two. It's obvious that all of the work is loved and appreciated.

Now here we go!

The top favorite of ALL of the favorites in 2008 is the "Bird of Paradise column" made by Linda (LyndaLu_Fla on Flickr).

The two runners up (who tied) were "Autumn" by Carol (Artist_Mama ~ Carol) and "CatManDu" by Claire (UCrackMeUp on Flickr).

Linda will receive a $100 gift certificate to Tile Shack! Thank you to Tammy for her generosity. Incidentally, Tammy is closing the doors to the Tile Shack, so now is an even better time to shop with her - excellent close out prices!

Congratulations to everyone that participated in 2008. You are all winners for challenging yourselves to try something different.

I'm looking forward to all kinds of great new challenges in 2009.

I have to apologize - time really got away from me this month. I can only assume that my brain is a little frozen up from the -13 fahrenheit temperature. :-(
