"Winter" Challenges Ends January 31, 2010

Hi Everyone!

The "Winter" Challenge ends Sunday, January 31 - just over a week from now.  Read about it here.


Two other challenges have been picked as well.  They are:

"Childhood Memory" ending February 28

and

"Create Your Own 3D Substrate" ending March 31.


You can find links to the challenge details and photos at the "Current Challenges" discussion.  In fact, this link is a great one to "favorite" and check in on often.  I always keep it updated with the latest challenges.

Congratulations to the 2009 Favorites' Artists!

All of the votes have been counted, and I'd like to congratulate the artists who made the top favorites in the Mosaic Challenge group in Flickr.  http://www.flickr.com/groups/mosaicchallenge/discuss/72157623216128606/

Laura (LauraInSpain) created the number one favorite, "Seeing The Light"

We had a tie for second place.  In order of their challenges:

2009 Favorites - Time to Vote Again

Hi Everyone,


Now that all of the challenges that ended in 2009 are completed, it's time to vote for our number one favorite of all the 2009 favorites!

Just like in the other challenges, you may vote for up to three of your favorites. The top three favorites will be announced, and the number one favorite will receive a $100 gift certificate from Tammy at Glass Tile of Oklahoma.

Ch #30 - Missed Deadline / Second Chance - Favorites Announced!

Hi Everyone,


Thank you to Tish for coming up with the "Missed Deadline / Second Chance" challenge. It was a great idea, and we had nine entries. We'll do this again at the end of 2010. People will be able to enter pieces they didn't get done in time for the challenges that end this coming year.

Tammy from Glass Tile of Oklahoma, will once again be providing gift certificates to the top three favorites: $25, $15 and $10.

The top favorite for this challenge will not pick a future challenge.

Ch #29 Tempered Glass Challenge - Time to Vote!

Hi Everyone, and Happy New Year!




It's time to vote for your three favorite Tempered Glass entries. We had 19 all together, which really impresses me. This is such a busy time of year, and a bunch of you still managed to get pieces completed.


The definition of this challenge was this: "Tempered Glass 2D, 3D (any D ). If a person can not find or has any TG then Clear or transparent glass could be substituted."
